World Bank
The World Bank has subscribed to Overleaf to provide their researchers and staff with a premium Overleaf Group Collaborator account. This subscription will allow their teams to collaborate smoothly on their scientific writing and publishing. The Overleaf accounts will provide access to premium features like Github, Dropbox, Mendeley & Zotero integration, and the ability to track changes & view document history.
Established in 1944, the World Bank Group is headquartered in Washington, D.C. The World Bank is a vital source of financial and technical assistance to developing countries around the world. It is not a bank in the ordinary sense but a unique partnership to reduce poverty and support development.
Vienna University of Technology (TU Wien)
Vienna University of Technology (TU Wien) is now offering Overleaf Professional Accounts to all students and faculty via an institution-wide Overleaf Commons subscription. These premium Overleaf accounts will allow students and faculty to harness the full power of Overleaf whilst working on their collaborative research and documents.
TU Wien develops specialist and interdisciplinary research with the aim of furthering innovation. Research at TU Wien is based on two pillars: a sufficiently well-differentiated basic research as well as its interdisciplinary integration and application-oriented university research, for which basic research is an important prerequisite. Together, basic research and application-oriented university research represent the essential components of the research performance of TU Wien.
Employing approximately 4000 researchers and about 30.000 students, a modern Tex-environment is an indispensable tool for TU Wien. Aside the location-independency with respect to editing and collaboration (which is nowadays perhaps a more important criterion than ever), Overleaf also provides TU Wien end-users with extensive technical support.
